Beautiful quiet and relaxing place, god surf guiding
I was looking for a surf camp that was affordable, not full of teenagers and not a party place, and I was spot on when I booked this one. This place is a little gem if you want to focus on surf without the party scene of Kuta and Legian. It sits in a quiet area near rice paddies, but still with some shops and restaurants around. The place is beautiful with its traditional balinese architecture, and the dorm is out of this world and unlike any other dorm I stayed - spacious, gorgeous looking bathroom, great mattresses.
Great spot / Friendly staff very close to busy Canggu
Stayed in a single room last minute booking for 10 days at this camp and can not speak enough to how incredibly helpful and friendly the entire staff was. Rooms were spotless and clean, the kitchen staff was awesome, food amazing as well, I found myself rarely eating anywhere else. The manager gave a lot of information on the surf as well as what to do around the area. Surf guides were all super friendly and got me into exactly the type of waves I was seeking. Took a boat trip out to airport rights and rode there overhead waves for what felt like the length of a football field. Utter joy ::
The double rooms (and even the dorm) are matching any high expectations of an european surfer. Next to that, the surfguides are super competent and the two guided surftours a day are well planned, always on time and never let you down in terms of wave quality. In contrary to some other surfcamps closer to Kutta this isn't exactly a party surfcamp. A place perfect to relax after surfing far away from the noisy, busy, smelly areas of south-west bali. Shortly, the Stormrider Surfcamp Bali is definetly a place I would recommend to friends in our age or to couples of any age.
Very nice, clean, relaxed place, with beautiful surroundings and friendly, helpful staff. I had a very laid back, relaxing holiday here and would definitely recommend for anyone looking for nice calm atmosphere, beautiful setting and surfing. The dorm was spacious and clean and a very nice stay overall. The beginner surf lessons were also great and the surf teacher Chris is just great! Most definitely recommend and would go again.
